You know... reading some of the Trivia to The Dark Knight Rises on IMDB really bugs me: www.imdb.com/title/tt1345836/t…
I simply can not stop ignoring Nolan's bullshit.
According to Gary Oldman, Christopher Nolan told the actors the ending of the film verbally to avoid any leaks.
Oh, how did that go like? "Pssst! Batman will fake his death and marry Catwoman! Best ending ever, right...? Don't tell anyone. "
According to Christopher Nolan, Bane was chosen as the film's main antagonist "to test Batman mentally as well as physically."
Which was concluded with Catwoman blasting him - which ends up killing him, out of nowhere... with the batpod. Brilliant, Nolan. There was no better way you could test Batman mentally and physically. Totally not.
Christopher Nolan wanted Marion Cotillard so much for the role of Miranda Tate that he modified the filming schedule to accommodate her pregnancy. Cotillard started filming two months after giving birth. In the last months of shooting, she also filmed another movie at the same time in France, Rust and Bone.
... and her performance as Talia was awful. Good work.
At one point it was rumored that the Penguin was to have been featured as one of the film's major villains, as would have been played by 'Phillip Seymour Hoffman'. Christopher Nolan quickly denied the rumors, saying that the character would have been difficult to adapt for his version of Batman.
... just show us that one of the rich people they banish is named Oswald Cobblepot and is short and chubby with a slightly long nose and a nice costume and a top hat... how hard is that? That's just an extended way of saying "I don't want to do it.".
In the comics, Bane carried an apparatus that contains a steroid that amplifies his strength and fighting ability. In the film, the apparatus he carries contains an anesthetic as he is in chronic pain.
...... why? Is it too unrealistic for you to have someone using steroids, Nolan?
Out of respect for Heath Ledger, the Joker is never once mentioned for the whole film.
... so, you are RESPECTING him by ignoring his character from the last film? That's almost like pissing on his grave, moron.

New Account
Now when I finally managed to get this old account back after losing my password, I've grown to prefer my new account ~KurvosVicky (https://www.deviantart.com/kurvosvicky) and have decided to only keep this account left as a museum of sorts for my older stuff. But if you wish to follow me further, then please do so through the said KurvosVicky account. I've only removed my Iron Man 3 review and Dr Metal comic pages from this account - so please feel free to add them to your favorites again through my new account.
Overall, I hope this will lead to good things in the future. :) This might be the last I post to this account. I had a good run with it, but it feels good to have a re
A tough question
I've before said I feel like shit over the fact that every single existing movie out there with a homosexual main character in it is either a drama or a romantic comedy. A gay main character can not seemingly be found in any movie that doesn't one way or another focus on homosexuality, in other words.
But that got me thinking... IS this really true, or not? I've tried really hard myself to find an action, sci-fi, fantasy, superhero, horror, thriller, detective or animated movie out there with a gay main character in it. And keep in mind, I DO mean movies with theatrical cinematic releases. Also... I have heard there's like some action movie
Some more about MCU
Marvel Cinematic Universe, that is. First of all, I might have been a bit harsh on Iron Man 3. I guess I need to watch it some more before fully judging it. I guess you could just see that as my first impression or something. :P
So anyway... now when I finally have the first Marvel movie in my possession belonging to Phase Two of the MCU (not counting The Amazing Spider-Man of course since we don't know if Sony will let them borrow him for a Avengers movie, but more on that another time maybe) - that gets me to think about the other movies of Phase Two a whole lot.
What's funny is how they throw out nothing but unknown directors to direct al
So I've seen Iron Man 3
Yeah... so, what did I think about Iron Man 3? Well, spoiler warning ahead, but... Tony Stark barely ever put on the suit like in 1 and 2, and like in 1 and 2 it almost always malfunctions or gets damaged... the plot twist with the Mandarin IS as insulting to the fans as a lot of people say it is and a horrible "fuck you"... the main villain isn't defeated by Tony Stark this time, but Pepper Potts, and it's even worse than you think - while Tony struggled a LOT to defeat him, Pepper defeats him without breaking a sweat. I know they try to give us all that "girl power" shit... but in that case, let her fight against others instead... god damni

i haven't seen the movie, but i don't mind spoilers. no i really don't! i knew the third movie wouldn't be better than the second one. anyway...
1: Maybye he thought "if we make a mediocre ending, then they won't tell the world to dissapoint."
3:Well he really wanted to have her. if i made a political satire-movie, i would want Jay Leno to play the US president!
4: i still don't think Phillip Seymour Hoffman would be a good penguin thought...
5: Steroids maybye would be too controversial... don't ask me, i just watch the movies... except this one... yaaay...
6: I think it's more like "remove his tombstone, maul it to dust and never mention him ever again."
