Top 10 best videogames ever by ~Kurvos:iconKurvos:

Well, here it comes. The best games I have ever played in my life. Get ready, because I will have some really fine ones in this list... of my own opinion.

10: [Prototype]
Among all superhero games I've ever played, this is the one taking the trophy. It's a wonderful sandbox game where you can do anything you want as a superhero/supervillain (yeah, you actually are more of a evil guy). Alex Mercer is a really interesting character, and his powers feels like a mix between Carnage, Spawn and something I really can't figure out. It's addicting, wonderful, and cool as hell to play.

9: Shadow of the Colossus
This game is excellent. Never have I seen a game where it's this fun to fight boss battles. When you've beat the game once, you want to do it again, just to try out the bosses once again, which are giant golem-colossi. And the character you play as; Wander, is such a natural character. And his horse is the best animated horse I have EVER seen in a game. I am still convinced they had the soul of a real horse in that CGI horse. It's THAT realistic. Although you feel pretty alone in the game, I think it's the charm of it. Don't play it too long in a row though, ot you might get a little crazy.

8: 007 Goldeneye
Best shoot em up ever made. Why? Well, it's a really difficult thing to answer. You got so many weapons, modes, and a excellent multiplayer mode. Other shoot em ups can get boring pretty quick, while this is just something you wanna play over and over again. And it's hilarious when you choose to play Oddjob since he is a short fatty; or Jaws, since he is such a big bastard. I get never tired of this game.

7: Tony Hawk's Underground 2
This is a HILARIOUS game! Best skating game ever. In other skating games, you feel so limited (in the sequels to this game as well). But here, you can do all kinds of shit. You can even toss away your skateboard and run around like a nutjob. You can on each level ruin something as well, so something fun happens. The most awesome thing is on one level, where you skate on graves and all of a sudden a weirdo on a bike comes and turns everyone into zombies! It's so awesome! and all the kinds of characters you can play as their... I mean, damn! You can play as Phil Margera, Wee-Man, the zombies, aliens, robots, Shrek, a soldier, Star Wars kid (YES, he is actually in this game), Bigfoot, and the most awesome of all characters - a giant severed hand! How can you NOT love a game where you can skate as a big severed hand, seriously?!!

6: Soul Calibur II
Well, i have already made a review of this game. It's the best beat em up game ever. When you want a cool fight with your friends, this is THE game to pick. Music great, graphics great, gameplay great, and... well, what more is there to say?

5: Devil May Cry
This will always feel like Resident Evil on crack and steroids; and it's so damn cool!!! The fighting system is plain genius. And so is the fact that this is a horror game where you fight to techno/metal music! And all the bosses are unique and creative, such as Dante himself. I have also reviewed this game as well already, so I won't say much more about this either. But I love it.

4: Kingdom Hearts 1+2
I consider these two as one game. You play as the keyblade wielder Sora, playing through DISNEY WORLDS.... how is this NOT enchanting?! Everything in these games are just a plain genuine thing. No matter what world you are in (almost), you get such a strong nostalgic feeling, and you can't get enough of it! And even though there are a few you won't get nostalgic by, such as Port Royal, you still feel it's awesome. Sora, Donald and Goofy, fighting along with Jack Sparrow to stop Barbossa... what are the odds?XD And when Sora in the second game turns into a lion at the world of Lion King... I just wanna hug that cute bastard.^^

3: Super Mario 64
Also reviewed this game before. But come on, this game is the perfect platform masterpiece (yes, I said masterpiece this time). It broke the rules of platforming by making it 3D, which people thought was impossible to make good, and they did something totally loveable! This game is so incredibly variated, got charming music, cute and colorful environments, and a kickass boss theme for Bowser! If you compare it to Super Mario Galaxy, it's actually a little half pathetic. When you play SM Galaxy, you get the feeling "This is great. It reminds me of Super Mario 64... I wanna play that game again!". Am I right, or am I right?

2: Portal
This is incredibly enough just a test game. It's available to get when you buy "The Orange Box", and is totally worth the money, even though you might not like the other games of that "box". It's the best puzzle game I have ever played, and can entertain you so damn good. And the villain is hilarious - it's a computer named GLaDOS. She is such a weirdo. She wants to kill you, but loves you at the same time. Really confusing. Even though you kill her in the end, she sings a song for you in the credits, making you almost fall a tear, and makes you crack in laugh at the same time. I can give you a link in the description to it, if you haven't heard it. This game is really good to train your brain. Surprisingly wonderful; especially for a new game, that's practicly only a "demo".

1: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Best game ever made. Music is wonderful, gameplay is wonderful, story is wonderful, characters are wonderful, and the variety is almost schocking you. Twilight Princess might did the same thing, but came out as a emo wannabe of this game. I can find nothing wrong about this game at all. When you've played through, you just wanna replay it again, and again, and again, til the end of time. Therefore, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, is for me, the best game ever made.

Thanks for reading. I hoped you enjoyed.:)

OOOOOOOH! Nice list! I love Kingdom Hearts...but I didn't like the second one as much. Some of it kinda got overtly lame...but the battle system was a little bit better!
Legend of Zelda is all ways awesome! Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was a fantastic game but my two favorites are Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening and (yes) Twilight Princess.

Well; as I said, Twilight Princess still feels like a rip off of it's predecessor. I think it's the same as I said about Super Mario Galaxy - when you play Twilight Princess, you think "This is as great as Ocarina of Time. Man, I wanna play that game now!". It's mainly because I can find flaws in Twilight Princess, but not in Ocarina of Time, as well.

I dunno, I think Twilight Princess had a much better story line. The overall mechanics where pulled off much better. Fantastic music, lovely graphics~ I really enjoyed it. I wish they would stay with the more realistic Link rather than that crappy toon Link. I didn't like Wind Waker so much. I couldn't get into it. It wasn't the just the graphics...it was more so...floating around in a boat. T___T

I think the story of Twilight Princess is half stupid. The one with Zant is at best okay; but then in the end, Ganondorf pops up for no other reason than fan-service. And I think the music of Ocarina of Time was more excellent, since it feels like Twilight Princess is doing a empty try to do something else that wasn't originally thought about.
And in Twilight Princess, it was plain terrible and lame to play the wolf stages. I have never been so bored of playing somethinh as those times. And Ocarina of Time had a much more welcoming and colorful environment, and actually more creativity somewhat. I think it's unfair to say Ocarina of Time isn't working as well as Twilight Princess and that it got worse graphic though. And I think the control is a little worse in Twilight Princess; and all those secret moves you could collect felt really pointless.

I can go on and on about the flaws of Twilight Princess.

... it feels almost as we can't come in peace with this conversation, besides... just a feeling, though.

Somehow, I took offense. I don't know why; I just did. It was the part with that you tell me that Twilight Princess is better than Ocarina of Time. It feels like a big downfall for me, since I had it on my first place. Really, it feels like I should change my opinion since I get the feeling I am wrong, when you say so detailed what's appearantly so obviously better about Twilight Princess than Ocarina of Time...
