I got literally SCHOCKED when I checked through the top list of movies at IMDB (yes, I do that sometimes). Why? On the 104th place, there's a movie called The Wrestler. I haven't seen the movie, but I've watched the trailer. And.... oh god.... no.... they can't seriously be fucking serious! I will actually give you a link to the trailer I've watched of it over at Youtube.

Have you watched it? It's okay if you choose to check after reading. And yes, maybe some of you even watched the movie. But anyway...
really? They make a drama movie about a wrestler? Are they freakin' kidding me?!!  Yay, I've always wanted to see the wrestler-version of Days of Our Lives; as a full length movie, especially...?!!!
The ironic thing is the beginning of the trailer... you see them wrestling, and hear that sweet "Bang Your Head" music in the background... and then they start to play sissy music and you see his common life all the damn time, and he cries a lot and he seems to be the most STIFF actor ever. It's like they want to show in the beginning "This would make it a good movie, but we want to disappoint you".
Really, HOW THE HELL could this movie get a place on the IMDB top list?! Then again, it's so mixed with how many voters each movie over there have... not funny shitty movies like Kill Bill appear there as well - so many people could realize without watching the movies that they will blow.
So what the hell is wrong with them? The Wrestler seems to just be a stupid movie about a stiff wrestler's ordinary life. Worst of all, he looks like Triple-H - the ugliest and most overrated wrestler I have seen in my entire life.

You might think I am just one of those who wants to see a movie with senseless action - but no, I am really not. What I expect though, is that a movie called THE WRESTLER will MAINLY be about someone WRESTLING!!! I mean, come on! Have you seen the Rocky movies? Those are great movies. I know that's boxing, but you get my point - why couldn't they do a wrestling movie the same way?!
I also love how the trailer really have to give you texts notifying for you what reviewers think... when The Godfather, The Dark Knight, Star Wars and any other major popular and loved movie camed out, they have never been forced to do so in their trailer - it's just PATHETIC!!!
If you are one of my watchers and have watched this movie; you are allowed to tell if I am really wrong about this movie, and that I could probably enjoy it (but think about my taste first). Since the trailer is probably the worst trailer I have ever seen, I rather doubt it though... I bet people like it only because Mickey Rourke plays the main character.
